Serving white wine at the right temperature is critical to getting out all of the flavor. White wine is almost always served chilled—in case you cut time short and have room temp wine right before the meal. Here’s how to chill your white wine in less than seven minutes.

Step 1

Place the wine bottle into an ice bucket.

Step 2

Fill with ice, water and a handful of salt (salt cools the water faster).

Step 3

Leave it in bucket for 6 minutes.
